This CNRS summer school is organised by the research network « LIFT », which aims at fostering a community of computational, formal, and field linguists. By organising this summer school, we specifically target an audience of linguists interested in learning about computational and statistical methods and best practices in all areas of corpus annotation, as well as computational linguists with an interest in language diversity. The summer school is geared towards researchers at all levels, from tenured researchers and university professors to research engineers and doctoral students.
The summer school will be held from May 30 to June 3 2022 at the Observatoire océanologique de Banyuls-sur-Mer, right on the Mediterranean Sea near Perpignan. Participants will stay at the maritime observatory, where all the courses will take place.
